The University of Utah commencement and convocation ceremonies are held annually at the conclusion of spring semester. Candidates for graduation in the summer 2014, fall 2014, spring 2015, or summer 2015 terms may attend. University Commencement will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 6:30pm in the Jon M Huntsman Center. This year's commencement speaker will be U.S. Secretary of Veteran Affairs and U alum Robert McDonald. Honorary degrees will be awarded to Anne Cullimore Decker, Henry B. Eyring, and Mark Fuller. Commencement and Convocation Ceremonies are open to the public and free to attend. No tickets or RSVP required. Those who are unable to attend commencement will be able to watch the live stream via the utah.edu website, or watch the rebroadcast on KUED Channel 7 on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 5:30pm.
