The 150th University Commencement will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 6:00pm in the Jon M Huntsman Center. Candidates for graduation in the summer 2018, fall 2018, spring 2019, or summer 2019 terms may attend.
This year's commencement speaker will be renowned civil rights activist, religious leader and University of Utah alum and former faculty member Rev. France A. Davis. Honorary doctoral degrees, the highest honor given by the university, will be awarded to Robert “Archie” Archuleta, May Farr and Gary L. Crocker. This year's student speaker will be T. Alisa Cloward.
